Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of GCC Tax GPT (the “Service”), operated by GCC Tax GPT (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these terms, the Privacy Policy and the Disclaimer. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. What the Service is
The Service is a research tool. It reads published tax legislation and tax authority guidance for the jurisdictions it covers and produces written analyses, with citations, in response to your questions. It provides tax research, not tax, legal, accounting or other professional advice. No output of the Service is an opinion on which you may rely without your own professional judgment, and using the Service does not create an advisory, fiduciary or client relationship of any kind.
2. Who may use it
The Service is intended for tax and finance professionals and for businesses with their own professional advisers. You must be at least 18 years old. During the beta, accounts are approved by us before first use and may be declined, limited or withdrawn at our discretion. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for everything done under your account.
3. Your responsibilities
- You remain solely responsible for any tax position, filing, payment, advice or other decision taken on the basis of the Service’s output.
- You will verify any output against the primary sources and applicable law before relying on it, and obtain professional advice where appropriate.
- You will not enter information you have no right to disclose, and you are responsible for any client or third-party information you choose to enter.
- You will not use the Service unlawfully, attempt to circumvent its limits or access controls, scrape it, resell it, or use it to build a competing product.
4. Accuracy and limitations
The Service is built from published sources that change, and the law is a matter of interpretation. Output may be incomplete, out of date, or wrong; sources may have been amended, superseded or misread; calculations depend entirely on the facts you enter. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, currency or fitness for any purpose of any output. The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
5. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising out of or in connection with the Service or any reliance on its output, including without limitation any tax, penalty, interest, fine, assessment, loss of profit, loss of business, loss of data, or any indirect, consequential, special or punitive loss, however arising and whether or not foreseeable. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total aggregate liability to you for all claims in any twelve-month period is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in that period, or AED 1,000 if you paid nothing.
6. Indemnity
You will indemnify and hold us harmless from any claim, loss, liability or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your breach of these terms, any information you enter, or any position you or your clients take in reliance on the Service’s output.
7. Availability and changes
We may change, suspend or discontinue the Service or any part of it, apply usage limits, and update these terms, at any time. Material changes to these terms will be notified through the Service; continued use after notice is acceptance. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms or that we reasonably consider a risk to the Service or to others.
8. Intellectual property
The Service, its software, design and compilations are ours. Legislation and official guidance quoted by the Service belong to their issuing authorities. You may use output for your own professional purposes, including in advice to your clients, provided you do not present it as our advice or opinion.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and the courts of Dubai have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, subject to any mandatory rights you have under applicable law.
