Law updates by email
Notice version 2026-09-23
Every night GCC Tax GPT checks the Federal Tax Authority and Ministry of Finance sites for new publications. When a new instrument is read, checked and added to the library, we can email you about it. This page says exactly what that means.
What you would receive
- One email per new instrument. A Federal Decree-Law, Cabinet Decision, Ministerial Decision, FTA Decision, guide or clarification that has entered the library. Nothing is sent on days when nothing new was published, which is most days.
- What it says. What the instrument is (issuer, number, effective date), what it changes and what it replaces, its key provisions each tied to the Article they come from, whom it affects, and an example question you could ask about it. Information, not advice.
- How often. A few times a month at most, driven by what the authorities publish. Never marketing, never a newsletter, never a third party.
Where it comes from
Update emails are sent from updates@gcctaxgpt.com, which is not a mailbox: replies are not read. Account emails, such as verification codes and password resets, come from a different address and are not affected by any choice you make here.
Switching it off, or back on
- Every update email has an unsubscribe link in its footer, and mail apps such as Gmail show their own unsubscribe button for it. One click stops the emails.
- Your email preferences page shows the same switch. Turn it off or on there at any time; the emails follow whatever it says.
- If an email to you bounces or is reported as spam, we switch it off for you.
What we record
That you opted in, when, and which version of this notice you saw, alongside your acceptance of the terms. This is the same consent record described in the privacy policy.
